new feature for ATT and 2WIRE routers
« on: January 02, 2015, 11:25:48 pm »

In place of phone number, or other huge 10 digt code lists would it be faster if
the numbers were generated by a script or command line arguments?
Something like a lower and upper limit as variables incremented by one to crack the handshake as a WPA key. For example 3122000000 to 3129999999

in my opinion, using from the wordlist would be faster than increment using script and with the aid of gpu, it will increase the speed.. but will also take a long time even it is only numbers.

Check out crunch to generate it based on a pattern.

So can you provide an example with crunch and aircrack-ng?

I'd like to do 000,000,000 to 999,999,999 (no commas) and hopefully not need 10GB.
I might also like 5550000000555 to 5559999999555 aka "555[0-9]{7}555" and not need over 1GB.

The help screen will tell you how. I also googled and here is what I found: https://tools.kali.org/password-attacks/crunch
